PSAS’2022 will be held as in-person event in Warsaw (Poland) – 16-20 May 2022. Chairs of the conference will prioritize contributions with declared in-person participation in the event, however the Local Organising Committee will provide video broadcast from the conference venue to secure access to the presented content for the international community.
The last day when you can register for participating in in-person even is 1 May 2022.
The last day when you can register for online participation is 7 May 2022.
Registration procedure
- Fill out the registration form. You can access it by clicking here.
- You can choose if you want to pay directly with credit card / PayPal or by bank transfer.
- If you need an invoice – please select this option within the registration form and insert all required information.
- If you select PayPal payment – after completing the form you will be directly forward to PayPal webpage to process the payment.
- If you select bank transfer – please send the bank transfer up to 14 calendar days after completing the form. Otherwise your registration will be cancelled. If you need more time – we encourage you to contact us by sending email to psas2022@candela.org.pl
- After completing the form you will receive confirmation of submitting the form and confirmation of processing the payment. If you don’t receive it – please contact us with details of the process.
- Up to 7 days after receiving the payment the Candela Foundation will send you an invoice. The invoice will be delivered at contact email submitted in the registration form.
Conference fee
Early registration – registration before 1 April 2022
Online participation (only passive) – free of charge
In-person, acitive, participation – 250 EUR / 1100 PLN*.
Late registration – registration after 1 April 2022
Online participation (only passive) – free of charge
In-person, acitive, participation – 350 EUR / 1600 PLN*.
The conference fee covers the costs of participation in the in-person event, breakfasts and coffee breaks during the event (16-20 May 2022). The conference fee does not include cost of lunches, transportation and accommodation.
Online participation
Online participation in the event is free of charge. Participants will receive link to the streaming platform in week before the conference. Using this link they will be able to watch presentation and ask questions.
*Price in PLN applies to participants from organisations located in Poland.
Coronavirus information
Due to the epidemiological situation and safety reasons, conference participants will be required to provide a proof of either a completed COVID-19 vaccine series or a negative PCR or antigen test for COVID-19 conducted no earlier than 24 hours before the start of the first session on a given day. If you fail to provide required documentation you will not be permitted to attend any conference sessions or events. A refund will not be issued if this occurs.
Grants for accommodation
There is a limited number of grants offering a free accomodation in the university hotel “Sokrates”. You can apply for this grant during the registration process. For more information please contact Local Organising Committee – psas@fuw.edu.pl or psas2022@candela.org.pl

Invitation letters
It is possible to obtain invitation letter supporting VISA application process. To request such letter please contact us at psas2022@candela.org.pl with set of information (names and family name according to passport, address, nationality and passport number). The letter will be delivered in form of a pdf file with Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) that in equivalent to written form. The letters will be issued for participants who paid the conference fee and abstract of their contribution has been approved by the Conference Chairs.
Scam warning
In recent years there have been scam attempts targeted at conference attendees, so we’re warning you preemptively, that:
- All emails from the Organising Committee will be sent from @fuw.edu.pl, @uw.edu.pl or @candela.org.pl
- We will be only charging the above mentioned conference fee, no other payments will be asked by the Organizing Committee
- Accommodation, lunches, dinner and transport are not included in the workshop fee, therefore we will not offer booking assistance to the regular participants
Any of the mentioned points may be subject to scam, so we are asking you to stay cautious.
Cancelling registration for in-person participation
Refunds are possible in the amount of 50% of the sum paid for the cancellations requested before 1 May 2022. After this date the refunds are not possible. To request refunds – please contact Candela Foundation with details of your registration by sending email to events@candela.org.pl or hello@candela.org.pl
